Broncos Artyom Minulin Named to Team Russia for 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series

Swift Current, SK – The Swift Current Broncos would like to congratulate defenceman Artyom Minulin on being named to Team Russia for the upcoming CIBC Canada Russia Series.

Team WHL will go against Team Russia for the first two games of the annual six-game series. The series willcommence on Monday, November 7th in Prince George, BC while the second game will take place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB on Tuesday November 8th.

Minulin’s appointment to Team Russia arrives after he recorded 15 points (3g-12a) in 16 games.

The native of Tyumen, Russia is eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft and is listed on NHL Central Scouting’s Players to Watch list throughout this season.

The 6-2, 200 lb blue liner has registered 48 points (8g-40a) in 88 career WHL games all with the Broncos.

Minulin was drafted by the Broncos with the 29th overall selection in the 2015 CHL Import Draft.

The 2016 CIBC Canada Russia series is supported by CHL associate sponsors Cooper Tire, and Sherwin-Williams.  All games will be broadcast nationally on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.
