Broncos bolster depth up front with acquisition of McGauley

Swift Current, SK: The Swift Current Broncos made a trade to address their forward depth by acquiring 18-year-old forward Colum McGauley from the Kelowna Rockets. Going back to Kelowna is an eighth round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.

McGauley’s first WHL season was last year, in which the¬†Nelson, BC¬†product skated in 47 games for the Rockets. The 5’11”, 174lb forward notched two goals and 14 penalty minutes. McGauley was originally drafted by the Spokane Chiefs in the fourth round, 75th overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
