Broncos Graham Out For the Year
Darwin Knelsen

The Swift Current Broncos announced Monday that 20-year-old forward Ryan Graham will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

The Calgary, AB native was playing through injury and made his last appearance on January 22nd when the Broncos took on the Saskatoon Blades before being shutdown. “We are disappointed for Ryan but this was the best move for his hockey career moving forward,” said Broncos Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Manny Viveiros. “Ryan will remain with the club in all aspects, including travel as we continue our push to the playoffs. He has been a wonderful teammate and addition to our hockey club.”

Graham was productive on the score sheet since being acquired from the Saskatoon Blades in a mid-season trade earlier this season.  He notched 23 points (12g-11a) in 21 games to go along with a plus-4 rating and three game-winning-goals.

The Broncos return to action on Wednesday night at the Credit Union i-Plex against the Regina Pats. Puck drop is at 7:00pm CT.
