Rookie Gordon Named to Top Prospects Roster

 The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club is proud to announce that rookie Coda Gordon has been selected to participate in the 2012 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

Gordon has recorded 13 goals and 16 assists in 30 games played topping the league rookie leaderboards in power play goals (7), ranking second in power play assists (10) and power play points (17) and fifth in the league in scoring amongst rookies with 29 points. 

The 6’1”, 179 pound Cochrane, AB product was recently ranked 8th amongst all Western Hockey League skaters by NHL Central Scouting in their preliminary rankings.

The 17th annual Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will be held from January 31st – February 1st, 2012 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia.  The Top Prospects Game will showcase the CHL’s top-40 NHL draft eligible players featuring talent from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.  The two-day event will also feature an exciting skills competition and three-on-three challenge.
